Our History

Tony Parker and Clay Prewitt teamed up to purchase the assets of Cormier Textiles from Ken Cormier in 2001. Cormier Textile produced banner blanks for the Sign Industry and a variety of woven polyethylene products including pool and boat covers as well as other industrial product applications such as landfill covers, turbidity curtains, disaster relief tarps (for US Aid) and other construction industry products. The production of theses types of industrial products required us to become experts at heatsealing a variety of materials. Many of these products ended up going overseas for production. Our focus shifted to the Sign Industry so we changed our name to Custom Banner.

Custom Banner
has been serving the Sign Industry for 19 years. We operate out of an 8,000 square foot facility in Rochester, NH. We specialize in custom work. Our 7 employees have almost 100 collective years of experience servicing the Sign Industry. In addition to providing custom banner blanks and related hardware to sign shops, our sewing, sheeting, heatsealing, slitting and grommeting services have been utilized by many Digital and Screen Printers to finish their vinyl and fabric banners for many years.

In 2003 we added dye sublimation to our print offering to allow us to custom dye fabric banners, flags, table skirts, and trade show backdrops. This process allows graphic professionals to have us custom print one unit or thousands efficiently.

In 2015 we purchased the assets of McCullough Banner in Strasburg, PA from Jim & Sharon McCullough as they prepared for retirement. They had spent much of their adult lives building a company with a tradition of producing the highest quality banner blanks. They are wonderful people who are highly respected throughout the Sign Industry. We have been working hard to build on that reputation. Unfortunately Jim's health has been in decline of late. We pray for Jim and Sharon and their beautiful family.

Dye-sublimation printing on a large variety of end products enables us to provide you and your customer a complete trade show/retail solution. From custom curtains to backdrops to table skirts to flooring, we can provide a complete, coordinated trade show booth with stands included. The visual impact of coordinating vertical signage with images on the floor can be very effective for both Trade show and Retail applications.

With our 40ft heat sealer, we can weld "printed" fabric and vinyl panels together. This process allows solvent printers to offer finished products in widths much greater than their roll stock and/or printer limitations. Not only are the seams as strong as the vinyl or fabric being welded but they are inconspicuous from a normal viewing distance.

In addition to dye sublimation, we also offer solvent printing on vinyls, mesh and a variety of fabrics. Our heatsealing and finishing expertise makes our printing services an affordable alternative for graphics professionals, no matter what size or order quantity.

In summary, as a supplier to the Sign Industry, our three main areas of focus are banner blanks, custom printing, and custom finishing. Our experienced Customer Service staff will work closely with you to assure that both you and your customer receive an excellent return on your investment. We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products, on time and at a fair price.
